Hatha Yoga: The Classical Approach
Hatha Yoga develops steadiness and ease in the body using classical yoga postures which have been
practiced for thousands of years. Classes begin with breath awareness and progress into yoga asanas
that develop, strength, flexibility and balance. Class ends with deep relaxation.

  • Vinyasa/Flow-Level 2/3   - Intermediate students
This is a Hatha Yoga practice that links movement and breath. A Flow yoga class focuses on the
dynamic aspects of an asana practice. Classes focus on "flowing"  from pose to pose in a series of
movements coupled with breath.

  • Level 1/2 - Beginners as well as continuing students welcome.
This is a Hatha yoga practice.  Class begins with a seated warmup and moves into a slow, steady flow
of postures. You are given time and instruction in each pose to settle into correct, safe, applied alignment
and breath as you progress through the class. The class culminates with 10 minutes of deep relaxation.

  • Intro/Basics - Those new to yoga or beginners this is a great place to start. Learn the basics of
    a yoga practice with detailed alignments and modifications to meet your needs as you begin the
    wonderful practice of yoga.

Grounded  Kids Yoga - All Levels Welcome.
Yoga, Laughter, Elevation. Grounded Grown Ups is a comprehensive system where adults explore &
develop their inherent potential to live life fully! Grounded builds strength, flexibility, self
confidence and creativity through an uplifting, life-affirming practice.

Grounded has created 85 unique yoga poses designed to bring the body into optimal alignment so you
feel your best and can fulfill your highest potential.
These poses serve and honor the individual by
providing specific tools to: Calm or increase energy, lighten up or centering through focus and balance
as well as the intuitive wisdom to know when each is needed.

Poses are categorized into 7 different sequences that correspond to the 7 major energy centers in the
body called the
Chakras. As you progress into the higher Chakras the "Together We Stand" sequence
engages the entire group to practice partner poses and inspire each other as we work together in
harmony to accomplish specific postures. In Grounded classes we share our yoga experiences & fulfill
the Universal Truth that we are One and belong to this big community we call our world.

Our expectations are high;
we work hard, laugh wholeheartedly and grow in our understanding of
who we are with confidence and strength.

Gentle  Yoga: The essence of Your True Nature - All Levels Welcome.
Gentle Yoga classes begin with a guided awareness while lying in Shavasana ,Yoga's Relaxation Pose,
and Pranayama (breathing practice). The classes progress into a very gentle and well supported  practice
of asana (yoga poses). Using blankets and props for support,  your body settles and softens into each
pose . As the body releases the habitual physical and mental tension patterns,  the mind becomes still and
steady... uncovering the essence of your true nature.

Gentle yoga offers a significantly different paradigm in yoga poses. Gentle yoga postures and sequences
along with deep relaxation methods return you to the place in yourself of wholeness and natural well-
being.

Gentle yoga pursues the understanding of the deeper purposes of yoga: the understanding of your own
essential nature.
