CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Hatha Yoga I: Beginning class for students with little or no yoga experience. Discover
the incredible benefits of a yoga practice.

Hatha Yoga I & II: These classes are appropriate for the levels listed. Beginning to
Intermediate levels.

Svaroopa Yoga : No previous yoga experience needed
The practice of Svaroopa yoga is a core opening practice  which opens and releases built
up tensions held along the muscles of the spine. Using blankets and props for support,
your body settles and softens into each pose. As the body releases the habitual physical,
and mental tension patterns, the mind becomes quiet, still and steady... uncovering the
essence of your true nature.

Meditation: All are welcome
This class consists of a beginning guided meditation, discussion of a topic for the
evening and a second meditation. The class ends in Shavasana  (yoga's relaxation pose)
to fully integrate your meditation into your daily life.
Please see our meditation section for complete details.

Vinyasa : All Levels
This is a Hatha yoga practice that links movement and breath. A flow yoga class
focusing on the dynamic aspects of an asana (yoga poses) practice. The class consists
of "flowing" from pose to pose in a series of movements coupled with breath.

Grounded Yoga for Kids, Tweens and Teens:
In Grounded classes, we share the transformational benefits of yoga with children &
teens. Each class is based on a theme that will inspre them to manage their physical and
emotional responses to life. We begin by tuning in to the bigger picture that we are
intrinsically good. From there, we move into poses and flows designed to tap into what
all kids and teens relate to in their life. We empower students with breathing techniques
that help energize, calm, cleanse, and balance their body and mind and show them how
to practice yoga anytime. Each class ends in the traditional Savasana and guided
imagery. For a more detailed description of grounded, go to
