CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Anusara® Inspired: Anusara yoga is a graceful, uplifting, all- inclusive flowing practice.
Based on the Anusara principles of alignment, students blend their spirit and expression of
the heart with balanced action in a supportive and dynamic environment. The teacher will
weave meaningful yoga intention and clear instructions that empower students to go deep
into their practice on the mat so that they experience positive transformations in their every
day life. All levels welcome.

Yoga, Meditation, Relaxation: a class for students with little yoga experience or those
looking for a complete practice which includes meditation. 50 minutes of postures, 15
minutes of guided meditation and 10 minutes of relaxation. Truly a complete and fulfilling
practice.

Gentle Yoga : No previous yoga experience needed. Our gentle yoga is a great place to
learn how to let go of the stress and tension that creates pain and irritation in the body and
mind. Using blankets and props for support, your body settles and softens into each pose.
As the body releases the habitual physical, and mental tension patterns, the mind becomes
quiet, still and steady... it's like that big deep exhale at the end of the day....aaaaahhh!
Everyone welcome.

Guided Meditation: a 20 minute guided meditation with a simple 10 minute seated yoga
warmup to prepare for meditation. Meditation can be done in a chair or seated on yoga
blankets. Calm your mind, settle your body and find a soft focus to your day. Beginners to
practicing meditators will benefit from this class. The instructor will add 15 minutes after
class ends for individual questions.

Meditation: All are welcome
Thursday evening Meditation -  This class consists of a beginning guided meditation,
discussion of a topic for the evening and a second meditation. The class ends in Shavasana  
(yoga's relaxation pose)  to fully integrate your meditation into your daily life.

Vinyasa : All Levels
This is a Hatha yoga practice that links movement and breath. A flow yoga class focusing
on the dynamic aspects of an asana (yoga poses) practice. The class consists of "flowing"
from pose to pose in a series of movements coupled with breath. This class is intermediate
to advanced.

Grounded Yoga for Kids, Tweens :
Grounded Continues to bring the highest quality of kids (ages 4-7) and tweens (ages 8-12)
yoga classes to SYMC. In Grounded classes, we share the transformational benefits of yoga
with children giving them tools to manage their physical and emotional responses to life. Our
Grounded yoga program encourages students to reach for the wisdom within themselves
and enables them to connect with their bodies and feel empowered and confident.
