Our Instructors: Sadhana-Stephanie Clement RYT, CSYT, MT, CYT Stillness Yoga & Meditation Center was founded by Sadhana-Stephanie Clement. She is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and a certified Svaroopa® Yoga teacher at the 500 hour, a certified yoga therapist, meditation teacher, and yoga philosophy teacher . She also is a Grounded Yoga Instructor for kids, tweens, teens and grownups. It is with complete gratitude and deep respect that she embraces the love, guidance and support that she is given by her teachers: Sri Bhagawan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri, Sri Karunamayi ( Amma), Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati ( founder of Svaroopa® Yoga), MasterYoga, and Grounded Yoga . It is from this fullness of her heart that she continues to extend and teach with the grace she receives from all teachers. Stephanie holds a BS in Education from the University of Georgia and has an extensive background in teaching, coaching and athletic training. Susan Fisher Palace, RYT Susan Palace is one of Atlanta's most experienced yoga teachers. She has been studying yoga since 1985 and teaching since 1990. With training in Anusara, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Bikrim, Kripalu, Viniyoga, Kundalini, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Integrative Yoga Therapy and Yoga Kids, Susan can accommodate students needs and customize programs for individual success. Susan has taught her Executive Stretch program and Relax for Success workshops at many Corporate facilities. In 2002 Susan added teaching children to her expertise and created KidVisions a guided imagery Cd for kids. Amy Haysman, CYKT, M.S. Ed Amy's yoga practice began in 1995 and soon revealed itself as the answer in her quest to feel better, experience life more fully and participate in making the world a happier place. Amy is the co-founder of Grounded: yoga. laughter. elevation. Her life's work and passion is grounding kids and teens. Noticing that the parents in their lives often need to be grounded too, she began teaching adult yoga classes in 2009. She holds a Masters Degree in Middle Grades Education, a 200 hour RYT certification, certifications in a variety of children's yoga programs, an affinity toward spending long weekends in yoga workshops and a commitment to earning Anusara Inspired teaching status in 2010. Amy has trained hundreds of yoga teachers from around the globe to teach yoga to kids and co-created the highly acclaimed Tools for Schools yoga program. Her two teenage boys hep fill her heart with so much love and delight that she joyfully shares in Grounded classes and trainings all over Atlanta. Carolyn Purvis, RYT , PYT I spent my twenties and most of my thirties in Corporate America, “living a life of quiet desperation.” I discovered yoga in 2002 and it changed my life! What started off being a weekly “exercise” class soon became the doorway to numerous physical benefits, emotional growth and spiritual awakening. My truest desire is to help other people discover the innumerable benefits of a lifetime yoga practice, learn how to heal themselves and discover more about who they really are. I was licensed through Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved training with emphasis on safe and properly aligned practice in 2006. Since then I have attended additional training in meditation, pranayama (breathwork), and various yoga styles. Arvind Chhiba Has been practicing Hatha Yoga since 1984 under the guidance of qualified yoga teachers at the Satyananda School of Yoga in South Africa. With the inspiration and encouragement of his teachers in South Africa, he began teaching yoga in 2004. In 2006 obtained a Yoga Teachers Certificate from the Satananda School of Yoga in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2008 went to India and after a month long intensive course obtained a YIC yoga instructors certificate from the SVYASA yoga university in Bangalore, India. This course covered all aspects of yoga-philosophy, hatha, asanas, pranayama, kriya, cyclic meditation, trataka, etc. Arvind has worked in the field of Civil Engineering for over 40 years and joins his family in Atlanta where he now resides. Tambria Bush Tammy is a mother, teacher by heart, and life long learner who fell in love with the profession of coaching where she could empower people who want to live with greater clarity, passion focus, balance and impact. She brings with her over 20 years in leadership, business development and facilitation. She loves serving people to unleash their strengths and natural talents from a heart-centered approach to catapult their effectiveness to serve and contribute the same to their teams, profession, family, and community. Appropriately, Tammy became a facilitator of The Passion Test in 2009, as a registered corporate coach, Tammy is a certified group coach, trained DISC profiler facilitator, a leaders coaching leaders certified facilitator, and is a certified facilitator of get client's now, a 28 day sales and marketing program.
